Mae Cyngor Cymuned Llannefydd yn fudiad gwirfoddol a sefydlwyd trwy statud. Mae'n cael ei redeg gan Aelodau etholedig a chyfetholedig sy'n gweithredu ar ran preswylwyr y gymuned a gwmpesir gan y Cyngor.
Rôl y Cyngor yw darparu llais i breswylwyr wrth ddatblygu a darparu gwasanaethau cyhoeddus a ddarperir gan Gyngor Sir Conwy, cynnal amwynderau lleol a hwyluso gweithredu prosiectau lleol.
Rydym yn cynnal cyfarfodydd misol (ar wahân i Awst a Rhagfyr) i drafod gweithgareddau cenedlaethol a lleol a allai effeithio ar y gymuned. Byddwn yn ymchwilio ac yn ceisio datrys unrhyw faterion a phryderon a godir gan bobl sy'n byw yng nghymuned Llannefydd a phobl sy'n ymweld â'r gymuned. Mae croeso i aelodau’r cyhoedd ddod i anerch y Cyngor ar ddechrau pob cyfarfod.
Rydym yn adolygu Ceisiadau Cynllunio ac yn ymateb i Gyngor Sir Conwy, yn postio gwybodaeth gyhoeddus ar hysbysfyrddau yn yr ardal ac ar y wefan hon.
Rydym yn cynnal cyfleusterau lleol (e.e. libart yr eglwys a'r fynwent, mannau agored, hysbysfyrddau, llochesi bysiau, cerrig coffa a meinciau cyhoeddus) yn unol â rhwymedigaethau'r Cyngor.
Rydym hefyd yn sicrhau bod y gyllideb flynyddol (praesept) yn cynnwys cyllid ar gyfer unrhyw ‘brosiectau arbennig’ a nodwyd ac y cytunwyd arnynt gan y Cyngor Cymuned ac rydym yn darparu grantiau ar gais, i gymdeithasau a grwpiau cymunedol lleol.

Cyngor Cymuned Llannefydd Community Council is a voluntary organisation set up by statute. It is run by elected and co-opted Members who act on behalf of residents in the community covered by the Council.
The role of the Council is to provide a voice for residents in the development and delivery of public services provided by Conwy County Council, maintain local amenities and facilitate the delivery of local projects.
We hold monthly meetings (apart from August and December) to discuss national and local activities that could impact the community. We will investigate and try to resolve any matters and concerns raised by people living within the community of Llannefydd and people who visit the community. Members of the public and the press are welcome to attend and address the Council at the beginning of each meeting and to listen to council business.
We review Planning Applications and respond to Conwy County Borough Council, post public information on notice boards in the area and on this website.
We maintain local amenities (e.g. the churchyard and cemetery, open spaces, noticeboards, bus shelters, memorial stones and public benches) in accordance with the Council's obligations.
We also ensure that the annual budget (precept) includes funding for any ‘special projects’ identified and agreed by the Community Council and we provide grants on application, to local community societies and groups.
